Mrs. Kennedy has taught in various school systems throughout the country, but feels she is very fortunate to have found her teaching home in the Douglas School System. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Moorhead State University. She has been certified nationally in Levels I, II and III of the Orff-Schulwerk Music Education. She is a charter member of the local Orff chapter and has taken her turn in serving at various positions, including the Presidency.
In the past several years Mrs. Kennedy has enjoyed the wonderful technology that Douglas School provides. She has written and recorded many of her own creations via electronic keyboards, burning CD's, powerpoint, and the use of manuscript software.
