Mrs. Steffy has been teaching in the Douglas School system for 20 plus years. She holds a BA in Music Education from Minot State University and a Masters Degree in Technology from Black Hills State University. Mrs. Steffy has also continued her music education by attending St. Thomas University for Orff-Schulwerk Levels I & II and University of Northern Colorado for Level III.
Mrs. Steffy has been President, Past President, Cheese Chairperson and Member-at-Large for the local chapter of the American Orff- Schulwerk Association.
Mrs. Steffy is married and has one son whom is 6 years old. Mrs. Steffy is also one of the worship leaders at her church.
